Velma Lee Beamon believed in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and trusted fully in God’s promise of eternal life. Even through her sickness, her faith remained strong, and she continued to rely on God’s faithfulness, grace, and sustaining power. She found peace in knowing that God was with her in every season and that His promises never fail.
Her faith was the foundation of her strength, her hope, and the way she lived and loved others. In times of trial and in moments of joy, Velma trusted the Lord and rested in the assurance that her life was held securely in His hands.
As we honor Velma’s life, we also honor the faith she held dear. It is our prayer that her family and friends are encouraged by her example and reminded of the hope found in Christ. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we lovingly invite you to open your heart to Him. Romans 10:9 reminds us, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” May Velma’s faith, perseverance, and legacy inspire each of us to seek Christ, walk in His love, and trust in the promise of eternal life.
